About:
FUTURE SWASHBUCKLER is a Souls-like swordplay adventure where you battle from morning until night, switching between two characters based on the situation. As a knight employed by a futuristic city, you must fight strategically and minimize damage to earn a good evaluation. The company you work for is very strict, and if you don’t perform well for even a single day, you’ll be fired and the game will end.
At the end of each day, your performance is evaluated. If you earn a grade of B or higher, you can continue your employment, but if you score lower, you’ll be dismissed and the game is over. If you remain employed, you’ll face a boss enemy. This cycle continues for five days, culminating in a final boss battle on the fifth day to reach the game’s conclusion.
At the beginning of each stage, you select one of ten cards that can either boost or reduce stamina (for you or your enemies), increase or decrease attack power, or alter experience point gains. The card you choose affects the stats of both you and your enemies.
One of the two characters is always highlighted with a blue frame around their face. If you switch to controlling the character with the blue frame, your attack power will increase by 1.5 times. To gain an advantage in battles, it’s essential to always fight with the character who has the attack boost.
The mini-map displays crosses (health), gears (experience points), swords (attack power boosts), and triangles (increasing company reputation) randomly placed on the field. You can collect up to three sword marks with upgrades, which have varying rarities and random values. Picking up a cross mark restores 50 health for both characters.
Your goal is to FUTURE SWASHBUCKLER survive and fight through all five days. If the game ends, you’ll have to start over from the beginning, but you’ll keep any sword upgrade items you’ve acquired.
